Fall 2026 · Doctoral Residency Meeting

The ERE brings together doctoral students, faculty, and alumni to share new findings, explore theoretical concepts, and showcase innovative technologies in learning and education. Held annually at the UNT campus in Denton, TX, the Exchange is a cornerstone of the Learning Technologies doctoral community.

About the Exchange

Who Should Submit

LT Doctoral Students Faculty Alumni

Proposals must be submitted as complete narrative papers — not abstracts, slide decks, or outlines. All submissions are double-blind reviewed by three faculty reviewers before acceptance decisions are made.

Session Formats

Paper Session

Traditional stand-up presentation with audience Q&A. 20–30 min slots. Focused on sharing research and theory.

Poster Presentation

Visual format, 48" × 36" landscape. Presenters share research informally with attendees throughout the session.

Round Table

Small-group discussion of specialized topics. Participatory and interactive. Presenter leads the conversation.

Demonstration

Live showcase of technologies for learning, teaching, or research — including VR, AR, games, and simulations.

Formatting requirements: APA 7 citations · 12pt Times New Roman, Calibri, or Arial · Tables and figures placed after first mention · References excluded from word counts. Questions? scott.warren@unt.edu
